our three day weekend

Saturday: i thought the antique fair was downtown, so Ryan and i decided to take a walk and check it out
on our way we picked up Clayton's friends dog Penny. Ryan & I love Penny!! she is the best dog ever!
we took penny downtown and realized the antique fair wasn't Saturday it was Sunday. so we were a day early.
Ryan and i took penny to the park, and then we walked to cold stone, and then we took penny to her favorite doggy store. she picked out some treats and i bought them for her. we walked for 2 hours. it was a perfect day.

Sunday: Ryan, John and I walked downtown to the antique fair. I was on hunt to find a birdcage. After walking around for 2 hours i found one i loved. it was only $30. John is going to make me a stand to put it on, and i will have it in our bird themed dinning room. After the antique fair we ran a bunch of errands

and then had my parents and john's parents over for a bbq. it was a perfect day for a bbq. and i love having people over. if we could have a bbq with friends or family every weekend i would be a happy mama.

after the family left i took out the garbage, and the dumpster is a couple min walk from our house, we have train tracks right next to our house, and i heard a kid screaming at the top of his lungs over and over, "i want to fucking die" "i want the train to kill me now" i went in the house, told john, got my cell phone and called the cops. it took the cops 10 mins to get to the train tracks, the whole time the kid was freaking out. he saw the cops coming and he took off running, they went chasing after him, with machine guns. and well that's it, we don't know what happened, hopefully he is ok.

Monday: john was suppose to work, but i convinced him to stay home. we went to ikea to buy a dresser for baby. i haven't bought anything yet for baby, because i don't want to get to excited or attached since i don't know for sure if the baby will make it. i know that doesn't sound very nice, but its the truth.
so we bought a dresser, and a rack to hang on the wall to hold diapers and butt wipes. i also got a rad frame i have been wanting forever, and its huge and wonderful. i just have to figure out what room its going in, and if I'm going to put fabric in the frame or a picture, or both.

sorry for this long blog, we had a very eventful weekend.

and another fun weekend planed for next week.

i heart disneyland

as you probably know John, Ryan and I are super Disneyland fans. we love all things things Disneyland
and if i lived in southern California i would go to Disneyland everyday.
but since we live 6 hrs away sadly we can only go to Disneyland once a year.

our next trip to Disneyland is 22 days away.... 3 weeks. I'm so excited i just cant hide it!!!!

when we go there will be 2 new stores that will have just opened. i cant wait to be one of the first to check them out......

some things i like and wish i could buy if i wasn't so damn broke.

i have been in love with vintage bird cages for over a year now. our dining room is decorated with birds and bird cage artwork. since i cant buy the rad antique ones i want cause they are over $100. i came up with the rare bird tank top. http://www.vanityexposedclothing.com/

yesterday Stephanie taught Ryan how to write his name in like 10 mins. i have been trying for months on and off, and she did it like that. i think he was more into learning from Stephanie than he is from me. he always gets frustrated when i try to teach him stuff, but he enjoyed learning how to write his name yesterday all thanks to Stephanie. im so thankful!! now its up to John and I to keep practicing with Ryan.

i have been taking wayyyy to many pictures with my iphone. i need to stop and use my real camera.

first picture: a bird cage plug i saw in a tattoo magazine on our weekley trip to the book store.
i want this plug!!! im obssesed with bird cages!

second picture: ryan caught a worm in his bug cage. he named the worm Shew Fly.

third picture: we took ryan to Kohls and got him the new toy story stuffed toys they sell for only $5 each.

fourth picture: my parents dragged me & ryan to the rv show at the fairgrounds, and i went in every single Airstream trailor. i have been wanting one of my own forever, too bad they start at $80,000.00 YIKES!

bed rest

as you probably know i have 8 cysts on my right ovary and a tear in the placenta, both of these issues cause me horrible pain. so much pain i am often on the floor in a ball and can not stand up. i told my doctor 2 weeks ago and she put me on bed rest for 2 weeks last week and this week. i have to return to work next week. being on bed rest is borning, but i need this time to relax so my body can hopefull heal itself.
if i am not better by next week my doctor wants to do surgery to remove the cysts. this is not what i want at all, having surgery can cause me to miscarry. so hopefully i get better, and if i dont, hopefully i can deal with all the pain for the remainder of my pregnancy.

on a happier note, i had an amazing mothers day! ryan got me a handheld fan that sprays water. and john got me a hot pink lawn chair. im excited for summer when ryan is swimming in his blue plastic pool from walmart, and im laying on my lawnchair with my spray fan all big a pregnant. we will be looking super white trash!

we went to great america on sat. i didnt go on any rides, i just sat on every bench i saw while ryan and john went on roller coasters. it was still fun for me, i love seeing ryan having a good time, he is such a big boy he can go on some roller coasters by himself now. ryan was telling me how he cant wait to take the baby on all the rides, it makes me happy that he is so excited about being a big brother.
